Crochet Scarf Pattern | Free Crochet Pattern
This is an easy crochet scarf pattern for beginners. This crochet scarf pattern is easy, fun and quick for beginners to make, because it is a repetition of two rows. The crochet stitches used in this pattern are:- double crochet, front & back post double crochet and v- stitch.

27sts by 15rows = 4”
Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain gauge.
Abbreviations
• Ch: Chain
• St: Stitch
• Dc: Double crochet
• Fpdc: Front post double crochet
• Bpdc: Back post double crochet
• Sk: Skip
• Rep.: Repeat
Special stitch
• V-stitch: work 1dc, ch2, 1dc in the same st / sp .

Note
• The beginning ch3 is considered as dc.
• The chain count is a division of 8.
• The scarf pattern is an easy pattern, just repetition of row 2 & 3.
• This pattern is worked in toddler size, but you can easily adjust the size as you prefer. You can make it as long as you want (by increasing the foundation chain) and make it as wide as you want (by repeating row 2 & 3 till the desired width).
• This pattern is adjustable, you can use your preferred yarn along with the hook size that goes with it.
INSTRUCTIONS
Ch 200
Row1(RS): insert hook in the 3rd ch (considered as dc), & make dc, sk ch, v- st in the next st, sk ch, *dc in the next st, sk ch, v- st in the next st* rep. From *to* till the last 3sts, sk ch, dc in the last 2sts. Ch3. Turn.
Row2(WS): dc in the next st, v- st in the next v-st,*bpdc around the next dc, v-st in the next v-st*rep. From *to* till the last 2 sts, dc in the last 2sts. Ch3. Turn.
Row3: dc in the next st, v-st in the next v-st, *fpdc around the next post, v-st in the next v-st* rep. From *to* till the last 2sts, dc in the last 2sts. Ch3. Turn.
Row4 – 17: rep. Row 2 & 3 respectively.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
