Row2: ch1, sc on each st across. Turn. (Total 20sts)

Repeat the same process for the back rectangular panel.
• For the small circular panels

Round 1: 8sc within the circle. Sl st to the first sc to close the circle. (Total8 sts)
Round 2: ch 1, 2 sc on each st. Sl st to the first ch to close the circle. (Total 16sts)
Fasten off, and cut yarn way long approximately 12 inches ( 31cm), we will use the long strand or yarn for sewing the circular panels on the rectangular panel.
Repeat the same process for the other 7 small circular panels.
Sew the circular panels on one of the rectangular panel (which will be considered as the front panel).
Then, after sewing all of the 8 circular panels on the front panel, sew the front and back rectangular panels together using single crochet , & at the corners make sc, ch1, sc to prevent the pencil case from bending at the corners.
Leave one side for the zipper to be sewed on.
Finally, sew the zipper.
NOTE: you can sew the zipper on the pencil case after sewing the 3 sides of the front and back rectangular panels together.
OR
You can sew the zipper before sewing or attaching the front and back rectangular panels together.
