Easy Twisted Headband |Free Crochet Headband Pattern
This Easy Twisted Headband is a crochet headband pattern that is an easy, fun & quick to make in no time. This free crochet Twisted headband pattern is a perfect project to use up your yarn leftovers.
The techniques used in this twisted crochet headband are double crochet, front post double crochet & back post double crochet. And then both ends are joined together in a twisted way, which makes it trendy.
The Pattern comes in 4 sizes:
• Baby: fitting head circumference – 16” – 17.5”
• Toddler: fitting head circumference – 18” – 19”
• Child: fitting head circumference – 20” – 21”
• Adult: fitting head circumference – 22” – 23”
Yarn
• Deramores Studio Anti-pilling DK 100g
• Other alternative yarn is the Deramores Essentials DK ( you can use both yarns or one)
• %100 acrylic
• Wt.: 100g

• The pattern is worked in baby size, and the other sizes are written in parenthesis as follows Toddler (T), Child (C), Adult (A).
• The pattern is worked up in two colours: the Main Colour ( MC) is the powder colour and the contrasting colour (CC).
• The CC that have been used in this pattern are the Rose, Clover, Slate & Camel.
• The pattern is written in US terminology.

INSTRUCTION
Ch 65 ( T: 73, C: 75, A: 85 )
Row1 (RS): With MC, insert hook into the 4th ch & make dc all across. Turn. Total 63 ( T: 71, C: 73, A: 83 )
Row2 (WS): ch2 ( considered as dc here & throughout), bpdc all across till last st, make dc. Turn.
Row3: ch2, fpdc all across till last st, make dc. Turn.
Row4: with CC, ch2, fpdc all across till last st, make dc. Turn.
Row5: ch3, sk st, fpdc around next st of previous row, ch1, *sk st, fpdc around next st of previous row, ch1,* rep. From *to* all across & make dc in last st. Turn.

Row6: ch3, sk st, bpdc around next st of previous row, ch1, *sk st, bpdc around next st of previous row, ch1,* rep. From *to* all across & make dc in last st. Turn.
Row7: ch2, dc in ch1 sp, *fpdc around next st of previous row, dc in next ch1 sp,* rep. From *to* all across, & make dc in last st. Turn.
Row8: with MC, ch2, fpdc all across, & make dc in last st. Turn.
Row9: ch2, fpdc all across, & make dc in last st. Turn.
Row10: ch2, bpdc all across, & make dc in last st. Turn.
Seaming
• With RS facing, pinch each end of the band in the centre. Left side upper piece of fold goes between centre fold of right size. Right side lower piece of fold goes between centre fold of left side.
• Using yarn needle seam all four pieces together.
• Secure ends ( fasten off) & weave in ends
• Flip your headband right side out, so seaming is the inside of the headband.
